Amy Williams

Hi there! My name is Amy Williams, and I’m the owner and founder of Figaro Music Studios. I started taking lessons when I was 7 years old, and began teaching five years later. I’ve continued my music education by studying the cello under Kate Jensik and Min Lee, music theory under Bill Fletcher of St. Paul’s School, and piano lessons under Roxana Bajdechi Frizzi in Boston. You can find videos from some of the concerts I’ve put on in Concord and Boston here.

I’ve previously enjoyed working at Shaker Road School as a piano teacher, St. Paul’s School as the accompanist for the ballet class, Camp Pemigewassett as the piano teacher and pianist, and played the piano and cello for weddings and many other events. But my true love lies in working with the wonderful teachers at Figaro Music Studios and getting to know the amazing students and families who come here.

Hannah Kassaras

Hannah began taking piano lessons at a young age and has been teaching since high school. She has studied both classical and jazz for solo performance and has experience accompanying for choirs, ensembles and orchestra. After discovering her love of teaching, she went on to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance through Berklee College of Music. She has been teaching for over fifteen years, and desires to instill in her students a love of music that will stay with them throughout their lives.

Noah Huizenga

Noah Huizenga is a senior at Southern New Hampshire University, working towards his degree in Music Education. He has been playing piano since he was young and has been teaching lessons since he was 15. While his initial training was more contemporary, he has also studied Classical and Jazz piano in college, making his playing style a unique blend of multiple influences. He is currently student teaching at Bow Memorial School, working in Band and General Music.

Collin Pickett

Collin began his involvement in music at a young age. Growing up, he was involved in chorus, musical theater, acapella, private voice lessons, and any other opportunities that he could get started in. Collin graduated from Nazareth University this past summer with his Bachelors of Music in Music Therapy and is now working towards his certification to become a board certified music therapist and serve his community. Collin loves to work with kids of all ages and teach them functional skills to grow as musicians!

Jessica Penn

Jess began playing music at a young age. She took piano lessons while also learning how to play the trumpet from her father. She loved participating in marching band, chorus and musical theater. Today, she plays the piano regularly for her church services. Jess worked in early education for over fifteen years while also studying to earn her teaching certificate. She enjoyed teaching children of all ages while working in Pre-K, Kindergarten and after-school programs. Now she loves to teach and share music with her students at FMS!

Jeremy Morse

Jeremy’s passion for music began at a young age, and he began taking guitar lessons at the age of eleven. He majored in music at Plymouth State University, where he performed in jazz bands and combos, pit orchestras for various theater productions, and guitar ensemble. Jeremy has been music faculty for Tilton School, Lake Winni Overnight Music Camp, and has taught private and group lessons all over central New Hampshire. He has performed throughout New England in jazz, swing, rock, and R&B groups including Lakes Region Big Band and Swing A Cat.
