Hi there! My name is Amy Comparetto, and I’m the founder of Figaro Music Studios. I started taking lessons when I was 7 years old, and began teaching five years later. I’ve continued my music education by studying the cello under Kate Jensik and Min Lee, music theory under Bill Fletcher of St. Paul’s School, and piano lessons under Roxana Bajdechi Frizzi in Boston. I also sing with the Concord Chorale and play the cello in the New Hampshire Philharmonic. I regularly play concerts in Concord and Boston either by myself or with my sister Kara. You can find videos from some of these concerts here.
I’ve previously enjoyed working at Shaker Road School as a piano teacher, St. Paul’s School as the accompanist for the ballet class, Camp Pemigewassett as the piano teacher and pianist, and often play and accompany for weddings and other events. But my true love lies in teaching my students here at Figaro Music Studios, where I feel privileged to teach some of the most motivated and hard working kids, and work with many wonderful families.
Hannah started taking piano lessons at the age of eight, and began teaching in high school. In college she minored in music and continued studying piano under Roger VanMaasdam. She enjoyed accompanying for the college choir, orchestra, and several traveling music teams during their many concerts and tours across the country. She has always had a love of music, which has grown over the last several years into a passion for teaching.
